5. Terms & Conditions
This Agreement is governed by the STM Web Design Terms of Service. The Client agrees to provide timely materials and feedback, to pay invoices per the milestones communicated, and that project timelines are estimates and may shift with scope changes. STM retains ownership of pre-existing materials, templates, and tools, and grants the Client ownership of final custom deliverables upon full payment. STM may showcase the completed project in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Deposit & Refund Policy
Deposit & Refund Policy
1. A non-refundable deposit of the amount specified above is required to commence work and reserves your project slot on our schedule.
2. The deposit covers initial discovery, planning, design concepts, and project setup. Because this work begins immediately upon contract acceptance, the deposit is not refundable.
3. Milestone payments are due as work is delivered. Once a milestone is approved in writing by the client, that portion is non-refundable.
4. If STM Web Design is unable to deliver the agreed scope, any prepaid amounts for undelivered milestones will be refunded in full within 14 business days.
5. Cancellation by the client after work has commenced does not entitle the client to a refund of amounts already paid for completed work, but any prepaid amounts for unstarted milestones will be refunded.
6. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@stmwebdesign.com and will be evaluated within 5 business days.
7. Monthly marketing and retainers are billed in advance and are non-refundable once the billing cycle has begun, but may be cancelled with 30 days written notice for future cycles.
